In teaching and coaching both men and women, Vicki has found her experiences to be invaluable. Currently, she takes an active role in small group Bible study and leading efforts to focus on reaching the unchurched, and she currently serves as a member of the Global Pastors' Wives' Board of Directors. Vicki also enjoys speaking at leadership and marriage retreats, women's events, church services, and conferences to inspire others and has been able to speak in the U.S., Canada, and Africa. During her time as Bible Study Coordinator at a church in Wisconsin, Vicki mentored many women and attended nine years of Bible Study Fellowship. While attending the North American Conference for Itinerate Evangelists (NACIE), Vicki was deeply impacted by Ann Graham Lotz, and today Ann serves as Vicki's silent mentor.
Like her husband, Vicki is passionate about partnering with individuals to help them live and lead from a faith perspective. She agrees with describing excellent leaders as "those who embody deep personal humility and fierce resolve, influencing success which is felt long after they move on."
Vicki loves to study and teach God's word and enjoys traveling, cooking, and collecting recipes from around the world. She is married to her college sweetheart, Sam Farina, and together they have one married son. In August 2007 they were blessed with their first granddaughter. Sam and Vicki reside in Huntersville, North Carolina.
