To share the gospel in a way that is relevant to today's generation. My hope is to share the gospel in a way that causes someone to be deliberate about evangelizing to those around them and build the kingdom.

I was born and raised in Van Buren, AR. At 19 I felt a call to ministry very strongly but had not yet received any direction as to what form of ministry the Lord wanted me in. I continued attending college at UAFS and graduated with a Bachelors in Business. I immediately got a job at USA Truck where I worked my way up to become the manager over our safety and compliance division. During my years of working a secular job, I inserted myself into every form of ministry to gain direction on where God was calling me. I led worship in youth/college ministries, I taught classes, I did street ministry, nursing home, etc. It wasnt until I was 29 that I finally got direction on my calling and my gifts. I was on a missions trip to the Philippines and I knew at that time that the Lord had called me to teach and preach.

My vision for the local church is for each and every member to know and fulfill their God given purpose. Every person needs to recognize their own evangelistic call to bring people into the kingdom. It's my vision to see lost souls from every walk of life enter into our local churches and be welcomed with open arms. It's my vision to see the local pastors steer away from preaching "feel good" messages and drill down to the heart issues that their congregation faces.

An Evangelist is someone who I believe is anointed with a specific gift to bring in a refreshing spirit to the local church. Not just for the church congregation but also for the pastor. As long as the pastor allows, an evangelist can also minister to the congregation in a way that the pastor may not be able to for fear of offending the congregation. I do think it's very important for an evangelist to seek specific direction from pastors or group leaders before speaking to the group or congregation.

I am currently serving in volunteer ministry at my church under my pastor. I am teaching discipleship classes, leading worship at our PAC church and before COVID I was also ministering at a local retirement home. I also work closely with our church women's director and assist with that ministry as needed.
