Ministry Emphasis and Vision Statement
Calling Christians to love like Jesus, imitate Jesus and be Jesus to everyone in the world around them, doing what Jesus did. It's the place of total transformation until the heart of Jesus beats in every believer's chest. I challenge men to walk in true humility and absolute surrender to God . I conduct an evangelism training seminar titled: Become A Rescuer Of Lost Souls and a seminar titled Stop Suicide - Learn To Help Save A Life. It equips the church to understand all aspects of depression and suicide in order to help save a life. I also conduct Hope For The Hopeless weekend ministry which includes the Stop Suicide Seminar on a Saturday and a Sunday evangelistic message addressing depression from a biblical perspective and the hope found in Christ. In boldly proclaiming the Gospel to the lost with passion and a sense of urgency the time is NOW to be saved.

Born in Rochester, New York in 1950, I eventually became involved out of high school in the secular music industry for over 25 years. I attained my childhood dream of becoming a rock star, experiencing the glamorous rock star life millions of teenagers only dream about. Success didn't fill my need for inner peace, security, happiness or purpose in life. Rock music only offered a temporary escape from life's problems. My bad attitude, fast lane lifestyle, excessive immoral life and use of drugs and alcohol nearly destroyed me. I lost it all falling from rock star to rock bottom. In 1988, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ at a Billy Graham Crusade. God instantly began to redeem and transform my life. In 1992, I was called into evangelistic ministry while attending an AG church. I often share my testimony as a platform to work from in preaching the Gospel, but I prefer to just preach and teach about Jesus. I am a graduate of The Billy Graham North American Institute For Emerging Evangelists, been a guest on Christian radio and TV like the 700 Club TV, TCT, 100 Huntley Street, been a featured speaker for Youth For Christ, Business Men's Fellowship USA, schools, colleges and churches. For 5 years I was in a leadership position employed by BGEA Rapid Response Team as a disaster relief chaplain for 5 years. Music and worship is still a big part of my life as I continue to play bass guitar as well as sing and lead worship. I also have 2 books published: Stop Suicide and Become A Rescuer Of Lost Souls. I am married to a wonderful Jesus woman named Debbie. We travel together ministering whenever possible and live in Rochester. I attend Greece Assembly of God Church.

David Nuzzolo, Executive Assistant Assemblies Of God NY District - 718-622-5270: In regards to Nick's Stop Suicide seminar, I know I can speak for those that organized the day and the participants, that the seminar was more than we expected. The material was well organized and the content very thorough.

Roger Marsh, Former Executive Director, Raceway Ministries, TX: "Nick presented a session on evangelism and methods. The response was terrific. One man said, 'It's the best single session evangelism and witness training event I've ever heard.' The session was very valuable and effective."

Charlie Craddock - Rochester, NY_585-370-2786 - My name is Charlie Craddock. I am the coordinator from Greece Assembly of God in Rochester, NY to the Open Door Mission. For a number of years, Nick Costello has been one of my regular speakers. We do 30 minutes of praise and worship and then a half hour for the word. You just can't get a good speaker. You need to get someone like Nick who has a heart for the homeless and a heart for the lost. For sure, you aren't going to fool these people. Time after time the people respond to the message Nick has shared with them. I have also had Nick share from his heart at my prayer breakfast I do once a month for people in the car business. Again He touched many lives. Have Nick come and speak. He is the real deal. I am having him come back next year and share again at my prayer breakfast. He touches people where they are. My friend Chuck who I worked with for many years is a pretty tough guy. When Nick spoke at our breakfast a few years back, He asked people at the end if they would like to have Jesus come into their lives. When I saw Chuck later that day at work, he came up to me and said," You know what I did today? I accepted Jesus into my life. "Feel free to call me anytime regarding Nick and his ministry.

Barry St. Clair, Former President of Reach-Out Youth Solutions, 404-313-1273: "Although many people address the effects of music on kids, no one understands the issue better than Nick Costello. He has lived in the secular music culture. Nick challenges kids to worship Jesus with all their hearts, including through their music. Boldly, he calls kids to trash the junk and embrace the beauty of following Jesus. Both his message and our friendship, I value highly.

My Vision for the Local Church in the 21st Century
My vision for the local church in the 21st Century is to see more of us take the love of Jesus into our communities, workplace, schools and every day world in which we live. It is to see those who claim to be true followers of Jesus be imitators of Christ without compromise to his Word and how God wants us to live. I want to see men become the man of God that he designed them to be. This means dying to pride, selfishness and being self-centered in order to walk in the humility of Christ. Our youth must become true worshipers of Jesus and stop trying to live on the fence between the kingdom of darkness or the world and Kingdom of Light.

My Definition of an Evangelist, and His/Her Role in Revival
The role of the evangelist is to unashamedly proclaim the Good news of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. The evangelists comes alongside the pastor of the church to help in ministering as stated in Ephesians 4:12, "Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do His work (continue Christ's work on earth) and build up the church, the body of Christ." I personally believe we live in a time where too many Christians are compromising in their obedience to God and need to be called to repent, surrendering 100% of their heart and life to Christ. Revival starts in the heart of the Christian. Many need to fall in love with Jesus again and have a revival in their heart for Him. We must see the world through the eyes of Jesus, have his heart for people all around us, feel his burden and compassion for hurting, broken people. The evangelist needs to address lukewarmness in the Christian and call the lukewarm Christian to burn for Jesus again!

Other Comments
My life belongs to Jesus. He owns me. My relentless pursuit is knowing Jesus, loving like him, dependent on him and surrendering completely to him daily. Everything I do in ministry is focused on Christ and preaching Christ.

In January 2004 I got saved on a street corner in Wynnwood, Miami. I never been the same since. I was set free from hate, anger, stealing, unforgiveness and self- righteousness. two weeks after surrendering my life to Jesus. The Lord spoke to me in a vision that He would use me to unite pastors and the people of God and 50,000 people would walk on 441. This is a state road that they not allow to close and we are celebrating twelve years of...
